Einstein Medical Center is located on Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  McCloskey & Faber have been the landscape architects for this facility for multiple projects since 1991.  This has included planning projects for public parking, building expansions and circulation as well as construction documentation related to parking garage construction, parking and pedestrian facilities.  We were engaged in a planning project for the park like area in the front yard of this facility to make this a more impressive public space with better circulation and accessibility, provide an improved entry experience and try to improve on existing bottlenecks present in their vehicular circulation system. 

Column Park represents the first phase of this much larger project.  Master Plan documents were prepared for the overall park area, phasing plans were prepared and an overall 3D Sketchup Model was prepared to help communicate the intent and as a marketing and sales tool.  This project included landscape design, sighting of historical columns from the former Philadelphia Mint, wall design, wall coping lights and column uplights at this impressive entrance feature.
