In business since 1980, our offices are situated in central Montgomery County, PA just north of the city of Philadelphia, PA. The company is a member of The United States Green Building Council (USGBC.)
Principal and co-founder of the firm, James R. Faber, ASLA maintains professional registrations in Pennsylvania, NY, NJ, MD, and DE. Senior Associate Chris B. Isenberg, ASLA, a Green Roof Professional and Senior Project Manager Kimberli J. Flanders, ASLA, LEED Green Associate, likewise maintain Landscape Architectural registrations. Mr. Faber and all senior staff are members in good standing of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
McCloskey & Faber, P.C. offers a team of experienced professionals very familiar with the municipal land development process including implementation and review of zoning constraints. Our services include Land Use Planning and Management, Site Design and Detailing, Detailed Grading Design, Landscape Design, Site Lighting Design, Green Roof Design, Campus Planning, and Municipal Consultation.
We currently serve as Township Landscape Architect to several southeastern Pennsylvania municipalities. We are committed to sound design, innovative thought & environmental integrity as demonstrated in our work with Green Roofs, vegetative BMP’s and environmentally sensitive site and landscape designs.
In addition, we offer in-house Site Lighting Design integrated with Landscape Design which provides significantly reduced conflicts between proposed site lighting and proposed trees while conforming to the latest IESNA Standards.
McCloskey & Faber, P.C. realizes the value of a cohesive design team and the importance of understanding the needs of the client and the community. Our many years of experience working as design team members provide us with a strong foundation for cooperative design efforts. We are often called on to provide team leadership and we enjoy interacting with other team consultants in an effort to create pleasing, sustainable, landscapes, site development and enjoyable people spaces.
November 2010
Colorcon Global Headquarters received the 2010 Montgomery County 2010 Land Development Award for sensitive site design, sustainable building practices, and natural landscape features. The facility, which successfully blends into the surrounding neighborhood, promotes environmental sustainability.
January 2011
McCloskey & Faber project, Switchville Crossing, a mixed-use development on Highland and Wharton Roads in Abington Township, achieved top marks from Abington Township’s Economic Development Committee on Dec 14, 2010, receiving an award for “Excellence in Site Development and Architectural Design.
