Abington Friends School
Jenkintown, Pennsylvania
When Abington Friends School (the oldest continuously used school site in the country) underwent an expansion and renovation, McCloskey & Faber was called upon to create logical circulation and separate pedestrian and automobile routes. These routes provide a safe and pleasing atmosphere for the children and create a defined visual corridor from the main road, while preserving the site's green character and multiple historic trees. Our services included layout and design of roads, parking, site lighting, architectural paving, amenity and landscape design for four courtyards.
