Delaware Canal State Park Amphitheater
Easton, Pennsylvania
The Delaware Canal State Park Amphitheater is in Easton, Pennsylvania on the site of the former Canal Museum.
Thanks to a generous donation from Linny Fowler, PA DCNR was able to design and construct this small amphitheater to be used for environmental education programs and performances. McCloskey & Faber developed a series of terraced low stone walls to provide seating for approximately 50 people in this open air amphitheater. The project included construction documentation for the many walls, sidewalks, site lighting and landscaping within the park. The park amphitheater began construction in Spring and was dedicated in July, 2003.
