Acts Granite Farms is a 26-acre Lifecare Retirement Community with interior swimming pool, outdoor recreation and trail system in Media, PA.


As North-East Regional Landscape Architects for Acts Retirement Life, McCloskey & Faber has worked on this facility and many others including Lima Estates, Southampton Estates, Spring House Estates, Gwynedd Estates, Brittany Pointe Estates, Cokesbury Village and others.


At the Granite Farms drop-off area, we were engaged with Kramer+Marks Architects to prepare Land Development drawings for minimum landscape and site lighting requirements for Township Approvals.  After these drawings were approved, we were engaged directly with the Owner to prepare more extensive drawings to upgrade the drop-off experience at this facility.  Improvements include a custom millstone fountain; a seating area in the drop-off island; enhanced landscaping; site lighting upgrades; landscape up lights and fountain lighting.
